I made a new drink this week that might be one of the prettiest ones I’ve made so far. It’s a Sparkling Butterfly Pea Flower Mocktail with Mandarin Orange, made with butterfly pea flower tea, homemade mandarin orange syrup, fresh lemon, and just a splash of lemon seltzer. It’s the kind of drink I’d make before heading out to the pool, or in the evening when I want something cold and a little fancy to sip outside on the porch. And one of the fun parts is watching the butterfly pea flower tea change from blue toward purple when you add the lemon.
This Week's FreebieI thought I’d design some printable recipe cards to go along with this week’s drink recipe, so naturally they ended up with butterflies on them! There are two blank recipe cards on each page, with space for ingredients, prep and cook time, directions, and an extra lined back if you need more room.
Here are a few tips for printing these cards:
Printer feed direction can vary, so if you use a different printer, you may want to test with plain paper first. If you have any questions, feel free to email me. I hope you’re enjoying these last weeks of summer! Cheers, P.S. The mocktail uses my homemade mandarin orange simple syrup, so if you already have a bottle in the refrigerator, this is another way to use it! |
