I had some homemade blueberry simple syrup in the refrigerator and wanted an easy way to use it without making a full pitcher of lemonade. So I made one glass of blueberry lemonade. My first glass tasted mostly like regular lemonade. Adding more blueberry syrup only made it sweeter, so I tested it again with less lemon juice. That small change made all the difference! The final recipe uses blueberry simple syrup, fresh lemon juice, cold water, and ice. It takes about five minutes to make and gives you one pretty glass of lemonade.
I also made a printable 4 Γ 6 recipe card for you! You can print it on matte photo paper and keep it in a recipe box or binder for the next time you have blueberry syrup in the refrigerator. Download the recipe card here: βTea in January-Blueberry Lemonade Recipe Card.pdfβββ I hope it gives you a little something sweet for one of these late-summer days! Cheers, β‘ Rebecca at Tea in Januaryβ P.S. If you need the blueberry simple syrup first, you can find that recipe here. |
